USMA Library
Jefferson Hall, completed in August 2008, reflects the Academy’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence. The Cadet Library, the Center for Enhanced Performance and the Center for Teaching Excellence, all providers of student-centered information services, are now consolidated in one central location, directly along the path from the barracks to Thayer Hall.
Vision Statement
The USMA library will function as the academic heart of West Point and become one of the premier undergraduate libraries in the United States. It will instill cadets with a love of learning and equip them with the resources and skills to pursue questions wherever they may lead throughout their careers.
Mission Statement
The Library serves the curriculum by partnering with faculty and staff to equip cadets with the skills and resources necessary to conduct meaningful research and to become life-long learners and critical thinkers. To this end the Library provides (a) research assistance, (b) instruction in the craft of research, (c) carefully curated collections, (d) external sources relevant to the curriculum, (e) access around the world to material unique to West Point, (f) access to publications for the academic community, and (g) space for cadets to engage in scholarship and study.

We moved from West Point, NY when the library was almost completed. The architecture of the campus buildings reminds me of Hogwarts, in Harry Potter. The older library was definitely "Hogwarts-ish", but the new library definitely has been modernized a little :).
